Now get this: Psalm 119:73… “You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands.”
I love that the Psalmist says this because I can totally relate. Much of the time I don’t have the sense to follow His commands so I need Him to put that desire in me. I can just picture how he is saying this to God (in a demanding, FIX this kinda way).
Down in verse 80… “May I be blameless in keeping your principles, then I well never have to be ashamed.”
Wouldn’t that be nice? Can you imagine doing everything right so that you would never have to be corrected, ashamed or embarrassed? You’d never be afraid of messing up and you could relax. I’d love that!
