Anticipation is Building

I applied for a clerical job at my children’s school last week but didn’t hear anything. I prayed that God would only give me the job if I could handle it. I had no idea it would be so hard waiting for a possible phone call. My emotions were all over the place. It was difficult because the person hiring knows me. If I had dropped in an application somewhere where the employer didn’t know me from a hole in the ground it wouldn’t have mattered so much.

At any rate, I’ve wrestled my thoughts and feelings out with God and am now relieved that I haven’t heard anything because I have stumbled upon another opportunity that seems much more suited to my ability and energy level.  I have references being done and will be completing the process of application today.
